Welcome to Café Lamhey (the "Café", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at cafelamhey.com (the "Site"), our online ordering system, and our physical workspace booking platform.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our Site or services. By visiting our Site, placing an order, or booking a workspace seat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Workspace Bookings & Reservations
Café Lamhey provides premium workspaces and co-working seats for freelancers, founders, startup teams, and remote creators. When booking seats through the Site:
- Seat Allocation: You agree to occupy the seat number specified in your verified booking confirmation. Adjustments can only be made by consulting our on-site hosts.
- Duration: Your booking is valid strictly for the dates and time slots chosen during checkout. Extended hours are subject to availability and supplementary fees.
- Cancellations & Rescheduling: Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time to be eligible for a refund or credits, unless specified otherwise.
- Cafe Access: Workspace booking guarantees high-speed Wi-Fi, desk space, and power outlet access, but does not include beverages or food unless specified in your booking tier.
3. Cafe Orders, Prices, & Payments
Our online shop allows you to order specialty coffees, artisan beans, meals, and booking packages. You agree to follow our purchase guidelines:
- Pricing: All prices listed on our Site are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change without notice. Applicable taxes and delivery fees are calculated during checkout.
- Payment Gateway: All payments are securely processed through Razorpay. You warrant that you have the authorization to use the payment details provided. Reservations/orders are not complete until Razorpay verifies payment status.
- Delivery & Pickup: Ensure that your address details are precise. We are not responsible for delivery delays or failures arising from inaccurate address entries.
4. Community & On-Site Conduct
Café Lamhey is built around community, creativity, and mutual respect. To maintain a productive environment for everyone, you agree to:
- Noise Control: Keep calls and discussions at a moderate volume. Use headphones for calls and meetings. Silence phone ringers.
- Space Care: Respect the shared equipment, power boards, and seating. Keep your workspace tidy and discard cups/plates in trash areas.
- Safety & Respect: Harassment, offensive behavior, or disruption of other community members will lead to immediate cancellation of your booking and removal from the café, without refunds.
5. Intellectual Property
The Site, including all texts, brand designs, coffee menus, logos, photographs, illustrations, animations, database schemas, and codebase, is the property of Café Lamhey and Rohindia Private Limited, and is protected under national and international copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may access the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Any redistribution, copying, scraping, modification, or publication of our site content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
Café Lamhey strives to provide uninterrupted high-speed internet and services. However, we do not warrant that internet connectivity, power outlets, or website functions will be completely free of errors or disruptions.
Under no circumstances shall Café Lamhey, Rohindia Private Limited, or its founders be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from internet downtime, loss of booking data, secure payment delays, or items left unattended in our physical café workspace.
7. Modifications to Terms
Just like we adapt our coffee menu to match seasonal harvests, we reserve the right to revise, update, or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting on the Site.
Your continued use of our Site, online shop, or physical co-working space after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We suggest reviewing this page periodically.
